Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and supervise student projects and theses.
- Conduct research leading to publications in refereed journals and award of research grants.
- Engage in applied research, creative development and consultancy projects related to healthcare activities.
- Contribute to the development of the School's research themes and participate in their activities.
- Contribute to departmental activities and management.
- Render professional service to the community and support activities promoting links with the profession and industry.
Requirements & Qualifications
- PhD degree in Nursing or a relevant discipline with substantial years of relevant experience.
- Professional nursing qualifications.
- Substantial record as an accomplished teacher with significant contribution to curriculum development and teaching and learning processes.
- Established track record in research and scholarship with refereed publications, external grants and postgraduate supervision.
- Demonstrated academic management and leadership capabilities.
- Preference given to those registrable with The Nursing Council of Hong Kong.
Appointment
- Full-time, fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract for Assistant Professor; appropriate term for Associate Professor and Professor levels.
