Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach history courses on Asia in global contexts at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Conduct and publish high-quality research in peer-reviewed journals and scholarly presses.
- Contribute to departmental strategic areas including global Asia, public history, and/or digital history.
- Secure competitive research funding through RGC grants and other funding schemes.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a PhD in History or a closely related field.
- Demonstrate a strong publication record in leading peer-reviewed journals and major scholarly presses.
- Show extensive experience in teaching and course development.
- Digital humanities experience is advantageous.
Appointment
