Duties & Responsibilities

Plan, develop, implement and review the Master of Science in Organisation of Sports Event programme.
Provide academic leadership in learning, teaching strategies and curriculum development for designated modules.
Teach and supervise student work at graduate and undergraduate levels in sports management and related courses.
Lead scholarly activities including research, consultancy and industry collaboration.
Maintain contacts with industry and educational institutions to ensure programme relevance and excellence.
Oversee accreditation and re-accreditation exercises for the programme.

Hold a recognised Doctoral degree in Sports and Leisure Management, Sports Science or related disciplines.
Have relevant teaching experience at tertiary level.
Demonstrate achievements or good potential in research and scholarly activities.
Have professional practice experience in relevant fields.
Possess high proficiency in English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
Meet at least one criterion: mother tongue is Putonghua, or bachelor's degree or above with Putonghua as medium of instruction, or 3+ years' working experience in Chinese Mainland or Putonghua-speaking countries.
