Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach Poultry Health courses within the Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine degree programme.
- Develop and implement the professional veterinary curriculum in Poultry Health.
- Develop an independent research programme in poultry health.
- Teach and manage undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
- Foster excellence in veterinary education and research.
- Perform administrative and service duties for the Department and College.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent veterinary degree, preferably registrable in Hong Kong.
- Possess Diplomate status in a recognised specialty board and/or an advanced degree.
- Hold a PhD in a relevant discipline (e.g. poultry veterinary medicine, poultry nutrition, animal health) or equivalent qualification (highly preferred).
- Demonstrate ability to build a world-class research programme.
- Show commitment to education and student mentorship.
