Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate music courses in humanities and the arts for general education.
- Participate in developing the undergraduate major program in Global China Studies.
- Assist in administering creative arts education programs.
- May be required to organize concerts and other art events on campus.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a doctoral degree in Music (DMA, PhD, or DFA in related area).
- Preference for candidates with expertise in ethnomusicology or performance.
- Experience teaching undergraduate music courses such as theory, composition, history, or appreciation.
- Solid professional career as a practicing artist is advantageous.
Appointment
- Contract — 1 to 2 years, renewable.
