Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct cutting-edge academic research addressing social problems.
Develop and contribute to academic programmes in social work and related disciplines.
Assume high-level service and administrative responsibilities.
Teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and mentor graduate researchers.

Hold a relevant doctoral degree.
Demonstrate a proven track record of impactful research and tertiary teaching experience.
Have a substantial publication record in international refereed journals appropriate to academic rank.
Show evidence of potential for securing research funding.
Possess strong teaching and graduate research mentoring abilities.
Ideally have expertise in social gerontology, healthy aging, life course, mental health, innovative practice approaches, smart society, wellbeing, or macro practice.

Full-time tenure-track position with initial fixed-term contract of two to three years; tenured appointment expected within six years.
