Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead cutting-edge research resulting in technology breakthroughs in mechanical engineering.
- Play an active role in formulating strategic direction for the Department.
- Deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Engage in knowledge transfer activities and provide administrative service to the University/Faculty/Department.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
- Distinguished and sustained record of high-quality, impactful research with publications and competitive grants.
- Proven excellence in knowledge exchange and international recognition for scholarly expertise.
- Strong commitment to excellence in teaching, curriculum development, mentoring, and supervision at all levels.
- Preference given to candidates with demonstrated administrative leadership in universities.
Appointment
- Full-time — Three-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before expiry of second three-year contract; exceptionally outstanding candidates may be considered for tenured Full Professor appointment.
