Duties & Responsibilities

Teach and supervise students across journalism, AI filmmaking, and creative industries divisions.
Conduct research on AI and emerging technologies in media and communications.
Contribute to curriculum design and programme development in the School of Future Media.
Foster collaboration between academia and industry partners.

Master's degree or above in journalism, communication, or related fields.
At least 15 years of professional experience in journalism, film production, or media industries.
Minimum 5 years in senior management positions within the media sector.
Minimum 5 years of teaching or professional training experience at tertiary level.
Proven exceptional contributions to the industry at national, regional, and international levels.
Expertise in one or more areas: AI in journalism, generative AI filmmaking, or global creative industries.
Leadership experience in administration and programme/curriculum development.
Experience in China and Asia preferred.

Full-time, three-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
