Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct high-quality research that advances disciplinary debates and contributes to global and regional conversations in law.
Mentor colleagues and contribute to the Faculty's research profile.
Teach and educate students in legal subjects.

Completed doctorate required at time of appointment.
Professor level: established record of academic leadership and influential scholarship at international level.
Associate Professor level: internationally recognized reputation for research excellence and strong portfolio of high-impact publications.
Assistant Professor level: strong record of quality publications or clear potential to develop into productive scholar with coherent research trajectory.
Preference for candidates in foundational common law subjects, artificial intelligence and law, intellectual property law, or PRC law.

Full-time contract basis of up to three years initially, potentially leading to longer-term appointment or substantiation.
