Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software components for a personalized embodied agentic companion using Python, Java and related technologies.
- Implement backend services and APIs, integrating conversational AI models and SDKs, and develop digital human interfaces with speech recognition and synthesis.
- Conduct system testing, debugging, performance optimization, support deployment, and prepare technical documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the project leader or Head of Unit.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Honours degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence or related discipline.
- Strong programming skills in Python and Java with experience in software development, debugging, design patterns, version control and API development.
- Practical experience with SDK and API integration, AI services, digital human platforms, speech recognition, text-to-speech synthesis and lip synchronisation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, good communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and in teams; preference for backend development, AI deployment or large language model integration experience.
