Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive literature reviews on project-relevant topics.
Contribute to designing and developing pedagogical materials for the learning platform.
Design, conduct, and analyse language questionnaires.
Coordinate recruitment of participants for surveys and focus group interviews.
Liaise with the AI technology provider on technical communication and requirements.
Engage with Cantonese teachers to promote the platform and gather feedback.
Collect user feedback and organise focus group interviews for evaluation.
Assist in disseminating and promoting project outcomes to the public.
Support preparation of conference papers, progress reports, and academic documentation.
Perform other duties as assigned by the project leader.

Hold a master's degree or higher in Chinese Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Chinese Language Education, or related discipline.
Be a native speaker of Cantonese.
Have strong foundation in Cantonese and Mandarin phonetics, vocabulary, and syntax.
Demonstrate high proficiency in written Chinese and English.
Show self-motivation, excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
Be highly responsible and capable of delivering high-quality work within deadlines.

Full-time contract — 12 months initially, with possibility of further appointment.
