Duties & Responsibilities

Assist the project leader in developing a mobile robotic automation system for an anodizing line.
Design, prototype, fabricate, and assemble mechanical systems including robotic end-effectors and mounting fixtures.
Implement and verify mechanical safety measures for robotic operations.
Support electrical and electronic hardware connections, wiring, sensor installation, and troubleshooting.
Set up testing environments and conduct system integration and verification tests.
Prepare technical drawings, assembly records, test documentation, and project reports.

Project Associate: Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics or related field; OR honours degree with 3+ years relevant experience.
Project Assistant: Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics or equivalent qualification.
Hands-on experience or strong interest in mechanical design, robotic end-effectors, prototyping, fabrication, or 3D printing.
Experience with mechanical CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
Knowledge of electrical/electronic connections, automation sensors, and system integration.
