Duties & Responsibilities

Provide academic leadership to School Deans and academic staff on curriculum development, quality assurance, and research matters.
Chair relevant Academic Board and Senior Management Committee meetings as assigned.
Lead overall academic curriculum structure, programme development, and quality assurance aligned with university strategy.
Develop research policies and strategies to promote impactful research activities.
Oversee recruitment, assessment, promotion, and retention of quality academic staff.
Oversee student admission policies, strategies, and processes.
Supervise development and performance of Schools/Departments through strategic planning and resource management.
Develop effective performance management systems for academic staff with professional development opportunities.
Oversee academic support units and research centres.
