Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting user-centered design research, fieldwork, and documentation for a preschooler physical literacy project.
- Help develop and implement product-spatial intervention strategies through prototyping, technical documentation, and quality assurance.
- Plan and co-deliver participatory design workshops for kindergarten teachers, school leaders, and parents.
- Co-develop educational toolkits and design-thinking activity kits for practical implementation.
- Monitor project progress, manage stakeholder communication, and submit reports to ensure project delivery.
- Perform additional duties as assigned and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Honours degree in Product Design or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in both research and administration within field-based studies and community stakeholder capacity building.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Cantonese for editing and report writing.
- Knowledge of industry-standard design software and Microsoft Office including Excel.
- Strong community engagement, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; preference for preschool education experience in Hong Kong.
Appointment
- Full-time or part-time, 24-month initial contract with possibility of renewal.
