Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform data engineering on large-scale Chinese medicine corpora, including cleaning, format conversion and de-duplication.
- Deploy and maintain vector databases and implement retrieval-augmented generation pipelines.
- Assist in verifying factuality of model-generated content and analyzing experimental evaluation data.
- Help prepare research reports and academic papers.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Proficient in Python programming, database management and development.
- Experience with text processing, OCR pipelines, vector databases and RAG/LLM frameworks is highly desirable.
- Detail-oriented with ability to work independently on large text datasets and fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Experience with classical Chinese texts or Chinese medicine materials is advantageous.
Appointment
- Full-time fixed-term contract of up to 24 months, not extending beyond the funded project end date.
