Research Assistant I

Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct classroom-based ethnographic data collection focused on diversity-oriented teaching practices.
Liaise with local Hong Kong schools to facilitate research activities.
Collect, manage, and analyze research data using mixed-methods approaches.
Provide administrative and editorial support to the project team.
Prepare research reports and publications.
Coordinate workshops and seminars.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator.

Hold at least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
Demonstrate expertise in qualitative observational data collection and analysis.
Possess strong command of spoken Cantonese and Mandarin.
Have excellent academic writing skills in English.
Be mature, open-minded, and possess strong interpersonal skills and intercultural sensitivity.
Preference given to candidates with MPhil or doctoral degree, anthropology/teacher education background, relevant post-qualification work experience, international experience, and fluency in diversity and inclusive teaching practices.
Experience working with teachers and students in primary and secondary school settings is highly desirable.
