Duties & Responsibilities

Undertake research on early detection of psychosocial distress in young people using speech analytics.
Perform acoustic and linguistic analysis as part of the research project.
Collaborate with the principal investigator and research team on project activities.
Perform research-related duties as assigned by the principal investigator.

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
Sound experience with quantitative methodologies and statistical analysis using programming languages such as R.
Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese including Cantonese.
Familiarity with Python (Flask or FastAPI), Svelte, JavaScript/Node.js, or Gradio is advantageous.
Strong foundation in machine learning libraries and frameworks with experience deploying local Large Language Models.
Good communication skills and ability to work independently under pressure.
