Duties & Responsibilities
- Contribute to translational research on spinal deformities including scoliosis diagnosis and management.
- Collect, manage, and analyze clinical, imaging, and functional data from X-ray and motion analysis.
- Participate in patient recruitment, clinical assessment, and longitudinal follow-up studies.
- Perform statistical and computational data analysis using appropriate software and methods.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
- Assist in manuscript preparation, conference presentations, and grant applications.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams including clinicians, engineers, and data scientists.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Biomechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Material Science, or related field.
- At least 1 year of relevant research or clinical research experience.
- Experience in clinical data analysis, medical imaging, or cohort-based studies preferred.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and/or programming languages such as R, Python, or MATLAB.
- Familiarity with AI/ML models is advantageous.
- Prior experience in biomechanics, motion analysis, or musculoskeletal research is a plus.
- Strong interest in translational medicine, digital health, or AI applications in healthcare.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
Appointment
- Full-time, 1-year temporary contract with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
