Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct virology or immunology experimental work as part of a multidisciplinary research team.
Analyze viral genome and high-throughput sequencing data.
Develop bioinformatics pipelines and perform statistical modeling of infectious diseases.
Develop machine learning and deep learning models for disease prediction and analysis.
Collaborate on research into emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases across disciplines.

Hold a Bachelor's degree or above in Virology, Immunology, Microbiology, Pathogen Biology, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
Demonstrate proficiency in at least one programming language such as R, Python, C, or C++.
Possess strong interest in emerging and re-emerging infectious disease research.
Show excellent analytical, organizational, communication skills and fluent English proficiency.
Be responsible, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of independent and collaborative work.
Preferred: experience in systems immunology, viral evolution, genome analysis, high-throughput sequencing, bioinformatics, machine learning, or molecular/cell/virology techniques.

Full-time contract for one year with possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
