Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct virology or immunology experiments and contribute to infectious disease research.
Analyze viral genome and high-throughput sequencing data.
Develop bioinformatics pipelines and statistical/dynamical models.
Develop machine learning and deep learning models for disease prediction.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary research team on infectious disease systems immunology and viral evolution.

Bachelor's degree or above in Virology, Immunology, Microbiology, Pathogen Biology, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (R, Python, C, or C++).
Strong interest in research on emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases.
Experience in systems immunology, viral genomic dynamics, transmission modeling, or deep learning for viral prediction is preferred.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with fluent written and spoken English.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
Experience in statistical modeling, pathogen immune dynamics, genome analysis, high-throughput sequencing, machine learning, or experimental molecular biology is desirable.

Full-time contract — One year, with possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
