Duties & Responsibilities

Participate in virology or immunology experimental work as assigned.
Analyze viral genome and high-throughput sequencing data.
Develop bioinformatics pipelines and tools.
Conduct statistical and dynamical modelling of infectious disease transmission.
Develop machine learning and deep learning models for disease prediction.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary research team on infectious disease systems immunology and viral evolution.

Bachelor's degree or above in Virology, Immunology, Microbiology, Pathogen Biology, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (R, Python, C, or C++).
Strong interest in research on emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases.
Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills with fluent written and spoken English.
Responsible, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred experience in systems immunology, viral evolution, transmission dynamics modelling, or machine learning applications.

Full-time — One year contract with possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
