Duties & Responsibilities

  • Participate in research investigating how human tubulin isotypes regulate microtubule morphology and function in health and disease.
  • Work in a laboratory employing single-molecule fluorescence and cryogenic electron microscopy to study molecular mechanisms of tubulin isotypes.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within the research team.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Biological Science, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Biophysics or related disciplines.
  • Excellent experimentation and communication skills.
  • Preference given to candidates with strong background in molecular biology, protein purification, cell biology, genome engineering, neuroscience, structural biology, or fluorescence microscopy.
  • Experience in cell imaging or single-molecule fluorescence microscopy is advantageous.
  • Organized, self-motivated, highly committed, and able to work independently and in teams.

Appointment

  • Full-time, one-year contract with possibility of renewal
