Duties & Responsibilities
- Collect, download, process, and analyze large-scale geospatial big data and remote sensing datasets.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, dashboards, and data visualizations.
- Perform Linux-based server administration, HPC management, and data center operations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a Master's degree with 2+ years relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree with 3+ years relevant experience in data science, geography, remote sensing, GIS, or related fields.
- Demonstrate practical skills in Linux system administration and maintenance.
- Possess solid understanding of remote sensing data types, principles, and processing workflows.
- Show proficiency in geospatial software such as ArcGIS or QGIS.
- Have proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, MATLAB, or R).
- Demonstrate experience with machine learning, deep learning, and AI techniques.
- Have experience with Linux data center/server room operations and maintenance.
Appointment
- Full-time contract — 1 year temporary basis with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
