Research Assistant I/II in the Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics

Duties & Responsibilities

Serve as primary contact for participants in an existing birth cohort study.
Coordinate day-to-day fieldwork operations and manage project logistics and timelines.
Conduct data management including extraction and quality control.
Assist with data analysis and report writing.
Handle administrative duties and occasionally work outside regular office hours.

Hold a Bachelor's degree or above in Public Health, Epidemiology, Statistics, Bioinformatics, or related life/medical sciences.
Have hands-on experience in participant recruitment, fieldwork coordination, and clinical or epidemiological data collection.
Possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Demonstrate fluent spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese).
Have basic knowledge in data analysis and a keen interest in epidemiology research.
Be logical, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with ability to work independently and in teams.
Experience in cardiovascular or NCD research and proficiency in statistical software (e.g. R) are advantageous.

Full-time — one-year temporary term contract with possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
