Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in research on infectious disease epidemiology and modeling in Hong Kong.
- Conduct statistical analysis, agent-based modeling, machine learning, and simulations.
- Perform literature reviews and data cleaning tasks.
- Prepare publications and reports for research projects.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in epidemiology, public health, biostatistics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related fields.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese proficiency.
- Strong quantitative skills and knowledge of statistical analysis.
- Experience with data analysis, infectious disease epidemiology, and statistical software (R, C++, Matlab, Python) is highly preferred.
Appointment
- Full-time — One-year temporary term contract with possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
