Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in the Centre for Quantitative History (CQH)

Duties & Responsibilities

Assist Principal Investigators and research affiliates with various research projects and coordination work.
Perform data collection, compilation, and verification to ensure research accuracy.
Support senior researchers and administrative staff with event coordination and operational needs.

Hold a recognised Bachelor's and/or Master's degree, preferably in Economics, Finance, History, Archaeology, or Social Science.
Demonstrate proficiency in English and Chinese, econometrics, and computer literacy.
Possess strong attention to detail, responsibility, independent work capability, and collaborative skills.
Have experience with quantitative skills and tools such as Stata, R, GIS, or Python (advantageous).
Show strong interest in working with historical data and comfort with meticulous, repetitive data work.

Full-time contract — one-year temporary terms with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
