Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory research on influenza, SARS-CoV-2, MERS, and other emerging viral infections.
- Perform laboratory techniques in microbiology including PCR and ELISA assays.
- Support work at a WHO reference laboratory for H5 influenza viruses and SARS-CoV-2 diagnostics.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, medical sciences, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrate responsibility, self-motivation, and diligence.
- Knowledge of microbiology laboratory techniques is advantageous; fresh graduates are welcome.
Appointment
- One-year temporary term or two-year fixed-term contract, with possibility of renewal subject to funding and performance.
