Duties & Responsibilities

Assist in projects related to high throughput sequencing and microbial genomics.
Work on and manage a diverse range of samples.
Contribute to the development of ongoing projects.

Bachelor's degree or above in Microbiology, Biology, Molecular Ecology, or related discipline.
Relevant wet laboratory experience preferred; dry laboratory experience welcomed.
Familiarity with environmental DNA (eDNA), next generation sequencing (NGS), and culture-based microbiology techniques desirable.
Responsible, self-motivated, capable of independent and collaborative work.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and careful record-keeping essential.
Proficiency in both English and Chinese advantageous.

Full-time contract — one year with possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
