Duties & Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and execute nucleic acid amplification testing protocols for pathogen detection in public health surveillance.
Perform nucleic acid extraction and analysis using techniques such as PCR, qPCR, LAMP, and RPA.
Document experimental procedures, results, and protocols meticulously to ensure reproducibility and quality standards.

Master's degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Virology, or related fields.
Minimum two years of hands-on experience in nucleic acid analysis or related biomedical fields.
Proficiency in nucleic acid amplification techniques, contamination control, and familiarity with NGS and CRISPR technology.
Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of electrochemical principles and instrumentation is advantageous.

Full-time, one-year temporary term contract with possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
