Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory research on influenza, SARS-CoV-2, MERS, and other emerging viral infections.
- Perform laboratory techniques including microbiology work such as PCR and ELISA assays.
- Support WHO reference laboratory operations for H5 influenza viruses and SARS-CoV-2 diagnostics.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, medical sciences, or related disciplines.
- Responsible, self-motivated, and diligent work ethic.
- Knowledge of laboratory techniques in microbiology (PCR and ELISA) is advantageous; fresh graduates welcome to apply.
Appointment
- One-year temporary term or two-year fixed-term contract with possible renewal subject to funding and performance.
