Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate in discourse studies research on news portrayals of autism and autistic individuals' self-perceptions in Hong Kong.
- Review literature, collect data, analyze data, and prepare research reports.
- Arrange and conduct interviews with autistic individuals.
- Perform project-related administrative work and other assigned duties.
Requirements & Qualifications
- For Research Assistant II: HKDSE Level 2 or equivalent in five subjects including Chinese, English, and Mathematics (or HKCEE Grade E equivalent).
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Linguistics, English Studies, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or related discipline preferred.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Cantonese required.
- Familiarity with discourse analysis and narrative analysis desirable; extensive interview experience preferred.
Appointment
- Contract — Approximately 4 months with possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement.
