Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct structured field observations across multiple sites in Hong Kong.
Deploy, maintain, and retrieve camera traps at research locations.
Extract, catalogue, and manage large volumes of camera-trap image data.
Record behavioural data using interval sampling and systematic observation methods.
Perform data entry, cleaning, and database management to maintain data integrity.
Assist in preparing research reports, manuscripts, grant materials, and presentations.
Undertake other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator.

Achieve Level 2 or above in five HKDSE subjects including Chinese Language, English Language, and Mathematics (or equivalent).
Possess a degree in Ecology, Geography, Conservation Science, Zoology, Environmental Science, or related field (preferred).
Have demonstrated experience in field-based wildlife research.
Show experience conducting systematic behavioural observations such as scan sampling and focal sampling.
Be familiar with camera-trap deployment and ecological data collection methods.
