Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct structured field observations at multiple sites in Hong Kong.
- Deploy, maintain, and retrieve camera traps across study areas.
- Extract, catalogue, and manage large volumes of camera-trap image data.
- Perform interval sampling and behavioural data recording.
- Ensure data integrity through entry, cleaning, and database management.
- Assist in preparing research reports, manuscripts, grant materials, and presentations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold at least Level 2 in five HKDSE subjects including Chinese, English, and Mathematics.
- Possess a degree in a related field such as Ecology, Geography, Conservation Science, Zoology, or Environmental Science.
- Demonstrate experience in field-based wildlife research.
- Have experience conducting systematic behavioural observations using appropriate sampling methods.
- Be familiar with camera-trap deployment and ecological data collection methods.
