Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct structured field observations at multiple sites in Hong Kong.
- Deploy, maintain, and retrieve camera traps across research locations.
- Extract, catalogue, and manage camera-trap image data.
- Record behavioural data using interval sampling methods.
- Perform data entry, cleaning, and database management.
- Assist in preparing research reports, manuscripts, grant materials, and presentations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold HKDSE Level 2 or equivalent in five subjects including Chinese, English, and Mathematics (or Grade E equivalent).
- Preferably have a degree in Ecology, Geography, Conservation Science, Zoology, or Environmental Science.
- Demonstrate experience in field-based wildlife research.
- Have experience conducting systematic behavioural observations.
- Be familiar with camera-trap deployment and ecological data collection methods.
