Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct structured field observations at multiple sites across Hong Kong.
- Deploy, maintain, and retrieve camera traps in the field.
- Extract, catalogue, and manage camera-trap image data.
- Record behavioral data using interval sampling methods.
- Perform data entry, cleaning, and database management.
- Assist in preparing research reports, manuscripts, grants, and presentations.
- Undertake other duties assigned by the Principal Investigator.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Achieve Level 2 or equivalent in five HKDSE subjects including Chinese, English, and Mathematics.
- Preferably hold a degree in Ecology, Geography, Conservation Science, Zoology, or Environmental Science.
- Have demonstrated experience in field-based wildlife research.
- Experience conducting systematic behavioral observations.
- Familiarity with camera-trap deployment and ecological data collection.
- High proficiency in Chinese is strongly preferred.
