Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the project investigator in coordinating research projects on ecological and evolutionary processes in environmental microbial communities.
- Conduct literature reviews and perform data analysis.
- Prepare manuscripts for publication and draft research reports and proposals.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Possess Level 2 or equivalent in 5 HKDSE subjects including Chinese, English, and Mathematics (or equivalent qualifications).
- Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
- Relevant research experience in bioinformatics or biology/microbiology/chemistry preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a strong team player.
- Attentive to detail, self-motivated, and capable of performing under pressure.
Appointment
- Full-time contract — 12 months with possibility of renewal based on mutual agreement.
