Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the project investigator in coordinating research projects on ecological and evolutionary processes in environmental microbial communities.
- Conduct literature reviews and perform data analysis.
- Prepare manuscripts for publication and draft reports and research proposals.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Achieve Level 2 or equivalent in 5 HKDSE subjects including Chinese Language, English Language, and Mathematics; or Grade E or above in equivalent qualifications.
- Preference given to applicants with a Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Relevant research experience in Bioinformatics (Genomics, Transcriptomics, Proteomics) and/or Biology, Microbiology, or Chemistry is preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, strong teamwork skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, and capability to perform under pressure.
Appointment
- Full-time — 12-month contract with possibility of renewal based on mutual agreement.
