Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct field work including butterfly surveys and sample collection in Hong Kong.
- Perform experimental work such as butterfly culture, DNA extraction, barcoding, and genome sequencing.
- Conduct comparative genomic analyses and literature reviews.
- Deliver research and educational talks.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Science (or Master's degree preferred) in Environmental Science, Biology, or related discipline.
- High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Preference given to applicants with knowledge of insect research and ability to work independently.
- Must be a good team player, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
Appointment
- Full-time — 12 months with possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement.
