Duties & Responsibilities
- Handle mouse work including husbandry, xenograft allocation, and drug administration for hepatocellular carcinoma research.
- Maintain and manipulate liver cancer cell lines using standard cell culture techniques.
- Perform molecular biology assays including Western blotting, qPCR, plasmid DNA mini-preps, and DNA cloning.
- Provide general laboratory support including reagent ordering and maintenance of experimental records.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or related discipline.
- Prior experience with mouse model handling in Hong Kong is a major advantage.
- Hands-on experience with animal work and basic molecular biology techniques is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively.
Appointment
- Full-time, contract for one year with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
