Duties & Responsibilities
- Support active research and day-to-day laboratory operations under supervision.
- Conduct a wide range of laboratory experiments including PCR, molecular cloning, ELISA, and flow cytometry.
- Assist with culturing, maintaining, and handling cell lines.
- Conduct microbiological sample testing and antimicrobial susceptibility assays.
- Prepare buffers, media, reagents, and maintain accurate experimental records.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Immunology, Virology, Biological/Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry, or related discipline (or Diploma for Junior Research Assistant position).
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team.
- High level of responsibility, integrity, and self-motivated work attitude.
- Experience in molecular cloning, protein expression, cell culture, ELISA, flow cytometry, or virus research is advantageous.
Appointment
- Full-time contract for up to two years commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement.
