Duties & Responsibilities
- Support active research and day-to-day laboratory operations and conduct experiments independently after appropriate training.
- Perform laboratory duties including PCR, molecular cloning, ELISA, and flow cytometry experiments.
- Culture, maintain, and handle cell lines under supervision.
- Conduct microbiological sample testing and antimicrobial susceptibility assays.
- Prepare buffers, media, and laboratory reagents and maintain accurate experimental records.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Immunology, Virology, Biological/Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry, or related discipline (or Diploma for Junior position).
- Strong organisational and time management skills with ability to multitask and work in a team.
- High level of responsibility, integrity, and self-motivated work attitude.
- Experience in molecular cloning, protein expression, cell culture, ELISA, flow cytometry, experimental animal models, or virus research is advantageous.
Appointment
- Full-time contract, up to 2 years (renewable subject to satisfactory performance)
