Research Assistant / Junior Research Assistant (The Hong Kong Genome Project)

Duties & Responsibilities

Undertake basic research and related clerical/administrative duties for the genomic medicine project.
Handle correspondence and enquiries related to the Project.
Assist in preparing research-related protocols and conducting literature searches.
Provide assistance to Genetic Counsellors.
Conduct recruitment of participants in clinic settings and collect detailed family history information through interviews.
Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in Genetic Sciences, Health Sciences, Biomedical Science, Social Sciences, Public Health, Medical Statistics, or related disciplines.
At least two years of relevant working experience (fresh graduates with basic research knowledge also welcome).
Strong team player with excellent communication skills and detail-oriented work attitude.
Self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility and problem-solving skills.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with essential Chinese literacy and advantageous strong written English.
Experience in patient care, clinical research, and digital health technologies is advantageous.

Full-time contract for one year, commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
