Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with data collection using ethnographic research methods including oral history, fieldwork, and community mapping.
- Conduct transcription, stakeholder analysis, and data visualization using collaborative design tools.
- Coordinate with government departments, NGOs, and design partners on ICH preservation and revitalization projects.
- Design and facilitate community engagement activities to raise awareness of intangible cultural heritage.
- Manage data collection, filing, archiving, and documentation from the community.
- Prepare research reports and administrative documents for ICH funding schemes.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Honours degree in History, Social Sciences, Urban Planning, or related discipline.
- Strong understanding of art, culture, community, and social design.
- Deep knowledge of ICH in Hong Kong with proven research experience in ethnographic methods.
- Good computer literacy skills.
Appointment
- Full-time — 10 months initially, with possibility of further appointment
