Duties & Responsibilities

Investigate cutting-edge techniques for foundation and multimodal large language models, including pre-training, post-training, and model merging.
Develop secure, scalable, and efficient infrastructure for data management, distributed training, model evaluation, and deployment.
Construct and maintain large-scale distributed training systems with cluster management, fault-tolerant scheduling, and pipeline optimization.
Explore efficient architectural designs for dense and Mixture-of-Experts models to enhance capacity and training efficiency.
Perform other duties as assigned by the project leader or Head of Unit.

Hold an honors degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science Engineering, or related discipline.
Demonstrate expertise in foundation models, generative AI, multimodal learning, machine learning systems, or model merging/fusion.
Possess strong capacity for self-directed learning.
Show commitment to open, reproducible, and ethically responsible AI research.
