Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and execute thermo-mechanical coupled Finite Element models of underground structures under EV battery fire conditions.
Conduct structural vibration and stability analyses on enclosed underground structures.
Participate in developing Physics-Informed Neural Network-based surrogate models for structural response predictions.
Collect, process, and analyze experimental data including vibration responses and temperature fields for model validation.
Contribute to preparation of research publications and project reports.

Master's degree in Mechanics, Acoustics, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Solid theoretical foundation and hands-on experience in Finite Element Method with proficiency in static and dynamic structural analysis.
Knowledge or project experience in structural vibration, vibro-acoustic coupling, or thermo-mechanical coupling.
Basic programming skills in Python or MATLAB.
Preference for proficiency in FE software packages (ANSYS, ABAQUS, COMSOL) and familiarity with machine learning/AI.
