Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute thermo-mechanical coupled Finite Element models of underground structures under EV battery fire conditions.
- Conduct structural vibration and stability analyses on enclosed underground structures.
- Participate in developing Physics-Informed Neural Network-based surrogate models for structural response predictions.
- Collect, process, and analyze experimental data including vibration responses and temperature fields for model validation.
- Contribute to preparation of research publications and project reports.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Master's degree in Mechanics, Acoustics, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Solid theoretical foundation and hands-on experience in Finite Element Method with proficiency in static and dynamic structural analysis.
- Knowledge or project experience in structural vibration, vibro-acoustic coupling, or thermo-mechanical coupling.
- Basic programming skills in Python or MATLAB.
- Preference for proficiency in FE software packages (ANSYS, ABAQUS, COMSOL) and familiarity with machine learning/AI.
