Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct research on chronic metabolic diseases including obesity, diabetes, ageing, and cardiovascular diseases.
- Discover and characterize novel biomarkers involved in metabolic homeostasis regulation.
- Utilize advanced proteomics platforms such as Olink and Simoa technology to identify disease-specific biomarkers.
- Lead research projects investigating adipose tissue heterogeneity and white-to-brown adipocyte conversion.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree, preferably in Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Multi-omics, or Bioinformatics.
- Strong track record of high-quality research demonstrated through publications and successful grant applications.
- At least three years of postdoctoral research experience preferred.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Appointment
- Full-time; 1-year temporary basis or 2-to-3-year fixed-term basis with possibility of renewal subject to performance and funding.
