# Job Description Summary
Duties & Responsibilities
- Pursue an independent research and design agenda in landscape architecture specialization.
- Teach core and elective seminars and co-teach design studio courses in Bachelor and Masters programs.
- Help build and sustain innovation in design research and scholarly initiatives within the Division.
- Contribute to shaping the Division's culture through teaching and administrative service.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a doctoral degree (Ph.D., D.Sc., Dr.P.H. or equivalent) in Landscape Architecture or closely allied field.
- Demonstrate an emerging record of innovative design research through scholarship and/or creative practice.
- Provide evidence of peer review and recognition of research contributions.
- Preference given to those with experience teaching and practicing design in multidisciplinary contexts.
Appointment
- Full-time — Two-year contract with possibility of renewal or advancement toward tenure-track positions.
