Duties & Responsibilities

Teach a specialized Set Theory course or cover existing departmental courses to free a colleague to teach Set Theory.
Teach courses such as Critical Thinking, Philosophy of Artificial Intelligence, and Deductive Logic.
Conduct research in philosophy with focus on departmental strengths including aesthetics, ethics, and Chinese philosophy.
Contribute to the department's research community and support new programmes including the Philosophy and AI degree.

PhD in Philosophy or related discipline required.
Expertise in Set Theory preferred but not strictly required.
Teaching competence in Set Theory or ability to teach Critical Thinking, Philosophy of Artificial Intelligence, or Deductive Logic.
Strong research record in philosophy.
