Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct research as the main duty and pursue external research grants as Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator.
Provide quality teaching at undergraduate or postgraduate level.
Conduct interdisciplinary research in medical engineering, biomedical AI, medical devices, computer vision, and digital health.
Lead the design, development, validation and clinical translation of innovative medical products including AI models and medical devices.
Establish collaborations with clinicians, engineers, hospitals and industrial partners for technology transfer and commercialisation.
Publish high-quality research in leading international journals in biomedical engineering and medical AI.
Contribute to departmental services and perform other duties as assigned.

Hold a PhD degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
