Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct research as main duty and pursue external research grants as Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator.
Provide quality teaching at undergraduate or postgraduate levels.
Contribute to departmental service.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

PhD or equivalent research-based doctoral degree in Neuroscience, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, Speech-Language Pathology, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
Preferably at least two years of postdoctoral research experience.
Demonstrated expertise in neuroscience and neurotechnology integrated with language and speech data using computational approaches.
Strong track record designing and developing AI, machine learning or deep learning models for language or speech data.
Strong track record publishing in high-quality international journals as first or corresponding author with demonstrated potential to secure competitive external research funding.
Open to e-learning and blended learning strategies in teaching and scholarship.
Good networking ability and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
Effective classroom teaching skills and high proficiency in written and spoken English.

Full-time, 2-3 year contract (renewable) with medical benefits and gratuity upon completion.
