Research Assistant (Traffic Engineering & Systems)

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide active teaching and instructional support for engineering courses.
Plan and implement student learning activities including seminars, workshops, and experiential programs.
Support project-based and hands-on learning initiatives including engineering projects and prototyping.
Operate and develop teaching laboratories and makerspaces, coordinating equipment and resources.
Contribute to innovative teaching initiatives involving emerging technologies like AI and robotics.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Center Director.

Hold a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in engineering or related discipline.
Demonstrate ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional environments.
Show strong responsibility and service-oriented mindset.
Possess genuine interest in working with and supporting student learning.
Have good written and spoken English communication skills; Chinese proficiency is desirable.
Prior experience in engineering education, laboratory operation, or emerging technologies is advantageous but not required.
