Duties & Responsibilities
- Collect and archive video data and comments from social media platforms.
- Conduct critical discourse analysis in collaboration with the principal investigator.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a doctoral degree in communication, media studies, sociology, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrate expertise in digital ethnography with substantial knowledge of Chinese internet subcultures and vernacular discourse.
- Maintain a strong record of academic publications in English with proficient scholarly writing.
- Possess effective interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach to research.
- Prior academic working experience in Hong Kong is advantageous.

- Full-time — Contract from 1 September 2026 to 31 May 2028.
