Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the project leader in a remote sensing research project focused on water resources mapping.
- Conduct fieldwork using land surveying equipment in Sha Lo Tung.
- Process field sampling data and LiDAR/hyperspectral data.
- Perform algorithm development and data analytics.
- Prepare reports and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Research Associate: Master's degree or honours degree with 3+ years relevant experience; Research Assistant: Honours degree or equivalent.
- Demonstrate good command of written and spoken English.
- Preference given to those with fieldwork willingness, driving license, drone operations skills, hyperspectral/LiDAR experience, remote sensing/GIS knowledge, strong analytics, and programming skills (Python/R).
Appointment
- Full-time/Part-time — Three months initially with possibility of further appointment.
